Vehicle Description The iconic Cadillac tail fin was gone forever with the completely redesigned 1965 model year.
The Standard of the World now wore a completely new and contemporary architecture.
It was understated elegance on the grand Cadillac scale.
The new standard of excellence was longer, lower, and sleeker than any design from Cadillac's illustrious heritage.
This tasteful new design was stripped of unnecessary chrome trim for a more refined elegance.
The bodyshell was completely new yet unmistakably Cadillac.

com This third generation 1965 Cadillac DeVille Convertible is featured in classic white exterior with red leather interior and white vinyl top.
As with all Cadillacs in 1965 this car is powered by a 429 cubic inch overhead valve motor and is mated to a three-speed automatic transmission.
Although not the original color the white paint on this Cadillac presents very well with just some minor chips from light use.
The red leather interior again not the original color presents very well with no areas of excessive wear.
The color combination of the white exterior with the red interior provides for an elegant combination which is worthy of the Cadillac name.
All the gauges and components of the interior appear to be working as intended with the exception of the radio.
With a fresh carburetor rebuild this Cadillac starts with a pump of the gas pedal and the turn of the key.
The car travels down the road as would be expected from a 1965 Cadillac.
If you lower the power top and put down all the power windows before heading out, you will be able to enjoy the fresh air provided from this spacious interior.
If you are looking for the ultimate classic cruiser this is the car you are looking for as it is the Standard of the World.
