From the rear panel top-mount filler cap and the peaked fender lines, to the vertically-sliced side gills, the original C3 design has plenty of presence without an overdose of gimmick.
The chrome body-hugging bumpers keep the overhangs minimal and the lines crisp.
The differences extend down to the details too, like the metal door handles mounted flush with the body, sunk within the top of the door skin.

com This 1968 Corvette Convertible is finished in Rally Red over a black vinyl upholstered interior.
It is powered by a replacement 350 cubic inch motor and is mated to a 5-speed Tremec transmission.
The performance-built V-8 motor comes to a quick start and runs strong.
The transmission shifts well through the 5-speed gear range.
Braking is provided by vented and drilled rotors at all four wheels for smooth quick stops.
A smaller than stock steering wheel has been added to allow ease of entry and exit of the car at the same time as allowing for a comfortable driving position.
Although an older paint finish it shows very well with a few imperfections that are typical of a car that has been driven.
This car has been upgraded to be used and not to just sit in the garage.
